They branched out to music distribution ranging from stock music library to high end desktop computers. Google is a company that started out as a search engine and expanded and diversified into many other businesses relating to IT as well. Not having to face any major competition has mad Microsoft’s growth monumental. There have been many iterations of Windows so far and currently Windows 10 is the latest iteration. Microsoft also competes with Google and Apple as their main competitors.
